IEEE CS SRMIST and IEEE Student Branch – CMU Africa recently established a Sister Chapter partnership connecting IEEE Region 10 (Asia-Pacific) with Region 8 (Africa)—a landmark international collaboration that brought together 100+ participants from across the globe for discussions around Agentic AI for Social Impact.

This international connection represents the larger vision behind IEEE CS SRMIST: creating platforms that connect students, innovators, and technology communities across borders and encouraging responsible, human-centered innovation.
